Hwa-Shen Tan is a member of the data engineering and data science teams at TerraCotta, a role in which he also works closely with the investment team. Prior to joining the Terracotta Group, he was a software engineer at Capital One.

Hwa-Shen holds a Masters degree in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania, and Bachelors degrees in Mathematics and Neuroscience from the University of Texas at Austin.
